May the Force Be With You... in Diné Bizaad

For this month's Indigenerd gathering, we're screening Star Wars: A New Hope in Diné Bizaad. More than a translation, the Navajo-language version of the film represents a powerful act of language preservation, cultural continuity, and Indigenous storytelling. Join fellow Star Wars fans and community members as we celebrate the enduring strength of Indigenous languages and experience a beloved galactic adventure in a way few audiences ever have.

Indigenerd is a community gathering space for nerds, dreamers, and storytellers preparing for Star Wars Celebration Los Angeles 2027 — and beyond. Rooted at The Chapter House, this program explores the powerful connections between Indigenous worldviews and the stories that shape modern fandom: Star Wars, X-Men, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and more.
