Indigenous Drag Show
Each year, The Chapter House organizes and hosts an Indigenous Drag Show in November in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. This annual tradition began with The Chapter House x Hollywood in 2022 and in partnership with the talent agency WME.
In 2024, the phenomenal Lady Shug and Landa Lakes returned to The Chapter House once more for the LaLa Land Back Tour Drag Show. The night featured drag performances by Shug and Landa, as well as performances by LA locals Bohenne Arreaux and Johnny Gentleman, and a jingle dance performance by Candido Cornejo.
Wines were donated by Native-owned wineries Twisted Cedar and poured by TCH favorite Jazmine Ladouceur of NOIRE. 5 Cazuelas whipped up tacos for the hungry crowd and once again, our community members volunteered before, during, and after the event to make it a night to remember.
