Tó Éí Ííná Át'é. Water is life. It nourishes our bodies, our homelands, and our spirits. For Indigenous Peoples water is intertwined with who we are; it flows through us, connects us to our ancestors, and shapes the futures we dream for future generations. This exhibition brings together Native artists to reflect on water as memory, as responsibility, and as k'é.
The Chapter House LA, in conjunction with the 2025 Women and Water Convening, invites Indigenous artists to submit artwork for a one-night exhibition in Tuba City, AZ on November 5, 2025 from 4 - 6 pm. This historic exhibition and the first of its kind on the Navajo Nation will celebrate women, water, and Indigenous creativity. Artists are invited to submit work that reflects on water as life, kinship, memory, and future.
